Led by founder, bandleader, and lead vocalist Casey Clark, Silver Sage Band began with a vision rooted in more than simply performing music. Casey wanted to create a group that would allow him to share his lifelong passion for entertaining while also encouraging other musicians and vocalists to chase their own dreams of performing live.
Even the band’s name carries a little piece of Arizona history. “Silver Sage” was inspired by the name of a street in Anthem, Arizona. What began as a simple idea quickly became the identity of a band that would grow into one of the state’s most recognizable and hardworking live entertainment acts.
Based in the Phoenix area, Silver Sage Band has entertained crowds at venues, festivals, private celebrations, corporate functions, community gatherings, and special events throughout Arizona, the Southwest, and several other states.
One of the qualities that makes Silver Sage stand out is the depth and versatility of its lineup. The band brings together talented musicians and both male and female vocalists, creating strong lead performances along with rich three-, four-, and five-part harmonies.
While country music remains at the heart of the Silver Sage experience, the group’s repertoire reaches well beyond a single genre. Silver Sage Band proudly serves as a house band at the world-famous Harold’s Cave Creek Corral, an Arizona landmark with a history every bit as colorful as Cave Creek itself.
Harold’s story began in 1935, when Johnny Walker opened the original Corral Bar to serve workers involved in the construction of Bartlett Dam. In 1950, local personality Harold Gavagan purchased the property, and it became Harold’s Cave Creek Corral. Over the decades, the original Wild West saloon and restaurant became known for unforgettable stories involving cowboys, movie stars, colorful locals—and even lions and tigers once kept behind the establishment.
More than 90 years later, Harold’s remains one of Arizona’s best-known destinations for live music, country dancing, food, celebrations, and Cave Creek nightlife. The historic property includes a large stage and dance floor, indoor and patio seating, multiple bars, and the newer Stage ’35 pavilion, created to host concerts, weddings, and community events. Harold’s regularly features live entertainment throughout the week and has long served as a gathering place where locals, visitors, dancers, musicians, and country music fans come together.
It is the kind of room where a live band must do more than simply play songs—it must lead the party. That makes Harold’s a natural home for Silver Sage.
The relationship between the band and venue allows fans to experience multiple sides of Silver Sage. Their full-band appearances bring late-night country dance energy to the main stage, while Silver Sage Acoustic performances offer a laid-back soundtrack for afternoons and evenings in the heart of Cave Creek.
