From Country Thunder Arizona to the World Famous Sultana Bar, the legendary Museum Club, and Whiskey Row, Parker Jenkins Band continues to prove why they are one of Arizona’s standout homegrown acts.
At the heart of the band is Parker Jenkins, born and raised in Prescott, where music has always been part of his story.
Inspired by his grandfather — a local country-rock musician who helped start one of Prescott’s first country rock bands — Parker picked up the guitar at a young age and never looked back.
That legacy now lives on through every song, every show, and every mile the band travels across Arizona.
After returning home to Prescott in 2019, Parker teamed up with longtime musician Tim Brown to build what would become the Parker Jenkins Band.
More than five years later, they are still running strong.
As Parker puts it, this band is about keeping family tradition alive while building the next chapter of Arizona country music.
The Parker Jenkins Band blends country storytelling with the grit and drive of rock and roll.
Their sound pulls from modern country favorites like Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, and Jon Pardi, while staying true to the rugged spirit of Northern Arizona.
With six songs currently available on all streaming platforms, including their newest single “Our World,” the band is continuing to build momentum both on stage and in the studio.
And there’s more on the way.
This summer, they’ll be heading back into the studio to complete their upcoming EP, giving fans even more of the original sound that has been turning heads across the state.
Few Arizona bands can say they’ve opened for names like Lainey Wilson, Nate Smith, and Blake Shelton.
Parker Jenkins Band can.
For three consecutive years, they have taken the stage at Country Thunder Arizona, one of the biggest country music festivals in the nation.
That kind of stage presence speaks volumes.
Whether they’re lighting up a major festival crowd or rocking a packed room on Whiskey Row, this band brings the same energy every time: real musicianship, authentic Arizona roots, and a sound built to move a crowd.
This is a group built on experience, chemistry, and true passion for the craft.
Arizona born and Prescott raised, Parker carries forward a multi-generational country-rock tradition while leading the band’s songwriting and sound.
A Phoenix native with deep musical roots, Tim’s background includes early studio experience connected to the family of Glen Campbell. His transition from rock into country helped shape the band’s signature edge.
With more than 30 years of guitar and audio engineering experience, David brings both technical excellence and creative depth to the band’s live and studio sound.
Dayton’s story adds incredible richness to the band. From playing steel in the Midwest country circuit to bringing that classic 1970s country-rock influence to Arizona, his sound adds a timeless layer to the band’s identity.
Inspired by legendary steel players from bands like Poco and Flying Burrito Brothers, Dayton brings that signature country soul to every performance.
The band also features traveling musicians Taylor Lance and Hayden Polder, helping round out the live show and bring even more fire to the stage.
The future is looking big for Parker Jenkins Band.
With a new EP on the horizon and plans to hit the road for their first official tour in 2027, this Arizona-grown act is clearly on the rise.
At AZDCMA, we’re proud to spotlight artists who are helping build the country music destination of the West™ — and Parker Jenkins Band is doing exactly that.
