2026 AZDCMA Country Music Awards
Eligibility Period: January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025
Nomination Submission Period: August 1, 2026 through August 30, 2026 (30 days)
Anyone may submit a nomination. You must register on the submission site to submit materials for consideration. Site registration does not create or approve membership in AZDCMA. Nominees are not required to be AZDCMA members.
All submissions are subject to eligibility verification, category placement, and review by the AZ Desert Country Music Association. Submission of a nomination does not guarantee placement on the final ballot.
Available Award Categories
Premier Categories
- Entertainer of the Year
- Legacy Award Recommendation (established, selected, and awarded by the AZDCMA Board)
Artist Categories
- Up & Comer / Emerging Artist (New Artist - Male or Female)
- Male Vocalist of the Year
- Female Vocalist of the Year
- Duo of the Year
- Country Western Group/Band of the Year (3 or more permanent members)
- Country Alternative Group/Band of the Year (Americana, Folk, Outlaw, Rock, Blues, or Other; 3 or more permanent members)
- Musician of the Year
Industry Category
- Best DJ
- Best Indoor Venue
- Best Outdoor Venue
- Best Radio Station - Small Market
- Best Radio Station – Large Market
What Happens After Nominations Close?
- AZDCMA will review nominees for eligibility, supporting information, and proper category placement.
- Multiple submissions for the same nominee do not automatically determine finalist placement.
- The top three (3) eligible nominees in each voting category will be placed on the final ballot.
- Exception: Best Radio Station - Small Market and Best Radio Station - Large Market will each advance the top two (2) eligible nominees.
- The Legacy Award is Board-selected and is not required to appear on the member ballot.
- Final voting will remain open for 15 days. Only active AZDCMA members in good standing may vote.
- The AZDCMA membership window will remain open during both nominations and voting.
Your SUBMISSIONSImportant: The AZDCMA Board has final authority over nominee eligibility, category placement, finalist selection, voting procedures, and award decisions under the official Awards Criteria & Policy Manual.
