Geoff Rochester
Vice President

Geoff Rochester serves as Vice President of the AZ Desert Country Music Association, bringing decades of leadership, integrity, and community service to Arizona’s country music industry.

Geoff is a retired Deputy Sheriff from Northern California, where he dedicated nearly 26 years to serving and protecting his community. Throughout his law enforcement career, he was driven by a deep commitment to helping others and ensuring public safety—values that continue to guide his work today. Following his retirement, Geoff relocated to Arizona in late 2020 in search of a new chapter and a renewed sense of purpose.

Since moving to Arizona, Geoff has become deeply involved in the Western and country music community. He has worked part-time contract roles with national promotional companies, supporting and staffing events across the United States. These experiences allowed him to build strong relationships throughout the industry and gain valuable insight into the operational and promotional side of live events. He has since refocused his efforts on helping build, support, and grow the Arizona Desert Country Music Association.

A lifelong country music fan, Geoff’s passion for the genre began at an early age through the influence of family and friends. He believes the country and Western community represents compassion, unity, hard work, and determination—values reflected in both the music and the people who create it. Geoff is especially drawn to the storytelling found in country music and the way its lyrics capture the full range of human emotion and life experience.

Through his role at AZDCMA, Geoff is committed to supporting the artists who pour their heart and soul into their music and the venues that provide vital spaces for community, connection, and live performance. He enjoys rodeos, country concerts of all sizes, and spending time at local venues listening to the talented artists Arizona has to offer.

Geoff looks forward to collaborating with artists, venues, businesses, and like-minded organizations to ensure the continued growth, sustainability, and recognition of Arizona’s country music industry—now and for generations to come.
