The Lake Havasu City, Arizona native discovered his love for country music early, trading childhood lullabies for classic country songs sung by his mother. Entertainment was always part of who he was, and that passion eventually turned into a lifelong pursuit of music. In 2010, Farris entered the Colgate Country Showdown, advancing to the Arizona State Finals and gaining momentum that led him to move to Nashville. His single “Redneck Radio” charted on the Billboard Indicator chart and Music Row charts while reaching #1 on the Indie World Country chart. Follow-up releases like “Resident Redneck,” “She’s Done,” and “Me or the Whiskey” continued to build his reputation as a rising country artist.
Farris has since performed nearly 300 shows a year, sharing the stage with major artists including Trace Adkins, Blake Shelton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dwight Yoakam, Jason Aldean, Chris Young, Jake Owen, and many more.
